The line cook is responsible for consistently preparing menu items according to established recipes, plate presentations, and specifications, ensuring that every dish meets the restaurant's standards.
This includes completing all assigned prep work to ensure that ingredients are ready for efficient cooking during service.
Set up workstation accordingly to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
Practice sanitary and safe food handling, cleaning, and sanitizing the work area before, during, and after shifts.
Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects to maintain the overall hygiene of the kitchen.
Qualified line cooks must possess excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation.
Able to move swiftly and efficiently throughout their entire shift, maintaining high energy levels and agility.
The job also demands physical strength, with the ability to lift between 25 to 50 pounds, and the stamina to work on their feet for the duration of the shift.
Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
