The Business Development Manager position is full time. It requires travel to various locations throughout New Jersey and Staten Island. The Manager will perform tours to introduce the Sola concept to prospective Sola Professionals; rapidly placing qualified Sola Professionals in Sola properties. While on location, the manager will also assist in operations tasks such as facilities management and client relations.

 

Your work schedule will vary based on needs. It will require working evening hours, and weekends, on occasion. Opportunity for growth as Sola expands.

Responsibilities

  • Licensing
    • Stage empty studios
    • Tours of the locations
    • Following up on leads
    • Assist in and/or conduct licensing meetings
    • Assist in and/or conduct orientation for new Sola Professionals
  • Facilities Management: While on location The Manager will:
    • Ensure appearance of locations are in good standard
    • Inspect locations to ensure everything is in working order
    • Meet with technicians and service providers when necessary
    • Work with the team to ensure that each location is visited at minimum once per week
  • Client Relations
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Establish good professional relationships with all Sola Professionals
    • Field client complaints and questions to bring to Operations Manager

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to respond to issues quickly
  • Proactive and self-motivated work style
    • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service preferred
    • Knowledge of the beauty industry is a plus
    • Ability to do light maintenance and “handyman” work is also a plus
