Position & Perks

As a Restaurant Systems Coordinator you will be responsible for working with multiple departments to properly maintain and configure data into the Point-of-Sale software. You will manage multiple requests at the same time, prioritizing as needed, and delivering at the designated due dates. You will work with multiple menu and food management systems, and respond to incoming requests, collaborating and implementing solutions as needed.

Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with Restaurant Systems Manager to update menu management databases, including online ordering and third-party delivery services, for all restaurant concepts.
  • Oversee incoming requests in the menu management and Rosnet ticket system.
  • Respond to requests professionally and with a sense of urgency.
  • Research reported issues, ask clarifying questions and work with vendor contacts to troubleshoot menu, software, and/or procedural issues. Re-prioritize as needed.
  • Manage the assignment of incoming requests to other members of the team as appropriate.  Verify and follow-up to ensure resolution is to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify potential issues with data, menu, and/or system integration.
  • Make decisions that align with company standards and business objectives across multiple brands and systems.
  • Manage multiple menu campaigns, updates, and go live dates. Effectively communicates with other departments on planned changes for menu updates.
  • Responsible for menu uniformity and accuracy for each concept.
  • Performs cleanup of obsolete POS data.
  • Collects information from internal and external sources, documents solutions and processes for ease of reference as appropriate.
  • Assists with other department projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Restaurant, retail, and/or hospitality industry experience or other industry with POS technology
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills to interface with all disciplines and levels
  • Impeccable eye for detail and troubleshooting skills with the ability to develop creative and cost-effective solutions
  • Ability to apply menu principles uniformly across multiple menu files.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies in menus by cross referencing in different sites and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to quickly identify issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner
  • Advanced math skills: ability to calculate figures, amounts, and percentages, and apply concepts of mathematics relating to financial calculations
  • Must have initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands with a strong sense of urgency
